It's time for a design team call!

Hello every one and welcome to the Paper Shelter challenge blog! This time I don't have a challenge for you, instead I'm hosting the design team call for the Paper Shelter. We would like to add seven, yes seven (7) new members to our teams, we have two of them. Shirley leading team A and me (Marie) leading the B team. We are sadly loosing a few of our dear members and have to replace them, then we want to add a few more.

The call is up for 2 weeks and ends 24th of January. You don't need to have any experience of being on a team and we are looking for all kind of crafters that can incorporate digital images in their crafting. So this is what you need to be able to do for us.

What you need to do to apply to the team

As we work with digital images we like you to use a digi for your application card. It doesn't have to be new and it doesn't have to be a TPS image even if we would love to see you use them.

Your colouring skills needs to be excellent and that is one of the main things we are looking at for our new design team members.

Please don't cover up your creation in too much decorations for this application, we really love to see your colouring!

This is what you need to be able to to regulary for the challenge blog

We feel that everyone deserves at least two comments each from the DT, so every second week you have to do your commenting in time. We have a comment rota, two numbers for each team member.

You need to be able to post your card in time both on the DT blog and on you own. (Yes, you do need to have your own blog and post on it regulary, at least once per week).

You need to be able to work with digital images as well as digital designer papers as the Paper Shelter produces both of these products. They Shelter does also provide pre coloured images and once in a while it's good if you use them as well.

You will receive a gift certificate to purchase the items you will need to start your projects.

You will receive all the new products while you're in our design team

Inspiration from a great team of designers.

The design team term is from 8th of February and ends 31st of July with the posibillity to stay on.

Ok, back to the new challenge right away. This week we have set the theme of Tie a bow. So somewhere on your card or other creation we would like to see a tied bow. How simple is that? I want to see tons and tons of entries this week. I need to get some inspiration for coming challenges. LoL

What you can win? Ahh, as usually we have the smashing $20 voucher up for grabs if you use a TPS image on your creation. We really would love to see more of using them so we can give away our vouchers. If you use another brand of image the prize will be three digis of your choice. That's nice too, even if you get so many more images for the $20 voucher. :)

"Its a Celebration" Challenge and Blog Hop

Good Morning Everyone, it's a year since Veronica and Pedro launched The Paper Shelter Website and to celebrate their first Birthday they have generously offered to sponser not only the Challenge which is themed "Its a Celebration" (which will last for two weeks for just this once) but also a "Blog Hop" in which both Design Teams have come together to take part in it. Good Morning and welcome to a new challenge here at the Paper Shelter. It's so great to be here again and I hope you feel the same. A big thank you to all of you that took part in our "All in Pink" challenge. There is so many stunning creations, it has been a great joy to look at them. Good luck with the challenge everyone! This week we are celebrating winter with the theme of Snow flakes! I happen to love the winter and snow and can't wait for it to arrive. It's so relaxing to see the snow coming down from the sky and all the light it gives during a dark time of the year. We love to see your winter butterflies, isn't that what you call snow flakes? Winter's butterflies? It can be on your designer papers, in your images, your embellishments etc. Just ad a snow flake and you're in!

Good Morning Everyone, well its third time lucky Ive made a right hash of writing up this post so far, anyway I want to say that this is our thirty seventh Challenge and this time its a real easy one "Anything Goes" and Im sure it will be a easy one for you to and a favourite. It's time for Challenge no 36

WoW! Time really flies, doesn't it? We are already on challenge no 36 here at the Shelter and this week we are having a haverest theme. So anything connecting to haverst will be fine here at the Paper Shelter. We like pumkins, leafs, plants etc. The colours of yellow, green, organge and brown should be your main colours. Nice and easy this time of the year. This is actually my favourite time of the year. I love the wonderful colour and the fresh air. However, I don't need the rainy days, but it can't be perfect everyday can it?

So we have a new theme up, now we need a winner from all those wonderful entries we had last week. You people never stop amaze us with your stunning creations. Good Morning Everyone, I just cant believe that it is only 10 weeks to Christmas, I do hope that you have made a start on your Christmas Cards, I have been making mine since January so at least I should have quite a few ready to post all they just need now are inserts. Anyway back to this weeks Challenge we want to see "Animals" on your cards Im sure you will find it an easy theme to follow as I suspect like me you have quite a few in your stash.

Good morning and welcome to another great challenge here over at the PaperShelter! There was a bunch of wonderful cards for the A team's challenge and I bet you can't wait to find out who the lucky winner is. You have to be patient for just a little longer as I thought we start with the new challenge first. We are going to make a start on all the Halloween cards that needs to be done.

Or at last resort use a image that has two images already on it.

Good Morning Everyone, Today is the start of a brand new style rota system for The Paper Shelter Blogspot but firstly I want to thank Cheryl so much for running this blog on her own for the last 6 months, shes done a sterling job and we are going to miss a really fantastic Team Leader, I want to wish her all the best for her future.
