Challenge #614 - Hallowe'en or Hallowe'en Colours

Good morning to all our Paper Shelter friends and welcome back to this week's new challenge. It seems so strange writing this post knowing our beloved Veronica is no longer with us, but to keep her memory alive, we will continue to showcase her beautiful art in our challenges. We hope you will too!

Our challenge for you all today is one of my favourites, Hallowe'en or Hallowe'en colours. I always love the fangtastic images that Veronica and Pedro release each year for Hallowe'en.

This week's challenge is

Hallowe'en or Hallowe'en Colours

You can create any project you like and can use any image as long as your project includes a Hallowe'en image or theme or any of the traditional colours of Hallowe'en such as purple, green, orange and black.  The choice and interpretation is all yours! There are so many fabulous images and colouring books in The Paper Shelter store, so why not pop on over there and treat yourself to a new one for this week's challenge?

We can't wait to see what you create for our challenge this time!

Team B have made a fantastic collection of cards and projects this time. The DT members have all used so many different, fabulous images for inspiration as well. Be sure to click on their blog links to find out more about each of the projects and the digi stamps they have used too.

Before I share their cards though, I'm sure you are eager to know who won our

Leaves Are Falling Challenge

Congratulations to Chris!

We now have a quicker way for you to claim your prize of 3 products from the Paper Shelter Store and this is by clicking on the Contact Link at the top of the blog. This will take you directly to a page for you to fill out with your choices.

Please can you also add Leaves Are Falling Challenge #613 Winner in your subject line, so that it makes it easier for Veronica to see your choices. Please can you also make sure you claim your prize by this coming weekend?

As always for this week's challenge our sponsors are The Paper Shelter and they are generously offering a really fabulous prize of $30 to spend in their store.

I know that you have heard this before, but this amazing prize will only be given if you have used one of our products on your card which could be either an image, paper or printable.

However, even if you haven't used an item from The Paper Shelter and you are picked as a winner you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice, so I'm sure you will agree that it's still worth taking part in our challenge.

So many more of you are actually using The Paper Shelter items in your creations so a lot more winners are now winning the whole $30 to spend, which is just fantastic!

You can enter up to three projects but one of these must show one of our products please; its only fair you do so.

Please make sure your project is a new project for this challenge and not one that has been entered in previous challenges. No backlinking please.

Now for Team B and their fabulous cards using so many different gorgeous images this week. I know you will love them and I'm sure you will find lots of inspiration from them for your own cards and projects.

Aren't Team B's projects all so fabulous?! I love how many different images have been used on each of these cards and how each DT member has used this week's theme of Hallowe'en or Hallowe'en Colours. The designs of every project are just so fabulous! Well done Team B and thank you so much for creating all these amazing projects.

Don't forget if there is a image which the Team have used above on their card which you would like to use for your own, don't forget to click on the "Using" link above each of the cards and it will take you directly to the webpage where you will be able to buy it. They really are fabulous value too.

Please don't forget, if you wish to take part in the challenge, that you are allowed to enter up to 3 projects, but please can you make sure that you add one of our products to at least one of your entries. If you don't, unfortunately, you will not be eligible for any of the prizes.

And now it's over to you to show us what you can do with this week's challenge theme "Hallowe'en or Hallowe'en Colours". We are all looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with it.

TRAGIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Good Morning everyone

You can find this week's challenge here.

We have some devastating news to share with you today.

On the 25th of September 2024, our beautiful Veronica, co-owner of The Paper Shelter store, tragically passed away.

Veronica was a kind, gentle, beautiful soul, who made our work here as the Design Team, fulfilling and enjoyable.  We are so desperately sad that she is no longer with us, and I'm sure, anyone who had contact with her, will be too.

Veronica and her husband at the time, Pedro, started The Paper Shelter store 14 years ago, and have continued to work together to build the beautiful range of images we have all used over the years.  Pedro is the talented artist behind the images we all know and love to create with, and Veronica made them come to life with colour, as well as being the face of The Paper Shelter store, that we all dealt with.

In honour of Veronica, Pedro will be continuing The Paper Shelter store, and we will be continuing with our challenge, remembering how much passion Veronica brought to their art.  We ask that you, our loyal followers, are patient with us as we make this transition, and as Pedro takes on Veronica's role in the store, along with creating our images.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pedro, their beautiful son Gabriel (seen with Veronica above), and their family.

Challenge #613 - Leaves are Falling

 Good Morning everyone.

By now I'm sure you've read the announcement regarding the loss of our beautiful Veronica.  It's difficult to continue on regardless, sharing inspiration and being creative, knowing she is no longer there, in the background.  The Design Teams have been battling to come to terms with this loss, but in honour of Veronica, we will continue, remembering her with every creative project.

In early December we usually run our Blog Hop, to celebrate the anniversary of the The Paper Shelter store.  This year, we will forego the celebration and rather honour Veronica with a Tribute challenge.  We'll share the details when the time comes.

For now, we will focus on using these wonderful images and creating with Veronica in mind.

Our theme this week is

LEAVES ARE FALLING

We are looking for Autumn themed projects AND/OR the inclusion of a tree or leaves on your project.

First, let's announce our winner from last week's ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL challenge:
