DT CALL

 THE PAPER SHELTER DT CALL

If you are looking for this week's challenge, you can find it here.

Sadly, a few of our treasured team are leaving and a few spots are opening up.  We'd love to welcome you to the team, so we're running a DT call for the next two weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE CHALLENGE POST!  

This is only for DT applications.  You can however enter the same project in both the challenge and the DT call, but only projects entered here will be considered for the DT positions.  Please add DT after your name, when you enter your project.

This DT call will run from the 21st of November until the 5th of December.

To enter the DT call:

Please use a digital image on your project.  It doesn't have to be a Paper Shelter image, but since we are a digital image company, we'd like to see your work, using a digital image.

Please only enter one project for the DT call.  We'll scroll around on your blog to look at other projects, when we're there.

We are looking for skilled crafters with good colouring skills.

You don't have to enter a new project for the DT call.  Choose one that perfectly shows your style.

You must have a blog where you regularly post your projects.

You must be able to communicate in English, as this is the only language we use on the DT blog.

We'll be looking at the quality of the photographs you take of your projects as well.


What we require of our team members:

Your duties on the team will start in the new year, but you can begin working on those projects immediately.

You will be assigned to either Team A or Team B, who alternate weeks on the challenge blog.

You will be required to make one project every 2nd week, and during the week that your team's challenge is live on the challenge blog, you will need to comment on entries.

You will be assigned two entry numbers to comment on.

Projects need to be uploaded to the DT blog by Monday evening at the latest, in the week of that particular challenge, but you will be able to work ahead.

You will be required to take quality photos of your project, upload them to the DT blog, and in your own blog post on your personal blog, on challenge day.

You need to link back to the image and/or digital papers you have used, in the shop, so customers can find those products.

We typically run a Blog Hop every year, as well as a couple of special challenges, and you will be required to make a project for those.

While we are looking for good colouring skills, The Paper Shelter also has pre-coloured images and digital papers, and you are welcome to use those in your projects occasionally too.


What do you get as a team member?

When you join the team, you will receive a generous voucher from The Paper Shelter to stock up on images to use in your first few challenges.

You will receive all newly released products during your time on the team.

DT-Call


Calling out to the fans of the Paper Shelter images!

It's time for a new dt-call here at the Shelter. We are looking for a few new team members that will join us for the coming 6 months. We have a warm, loving and helpful team that loves to create with the wonderful images provided by The Paper Shelter. And we hope that you want to be a part of that!

 What you need to do to take part in the call is found here and all the info and then some about how we work is found here. Please do read it as it answer the most of your questions. 

The DT call will run from today, 11th of  March till 20th of March, midnight UK time. So you will have about 10 days to apply to the team. One entry per applicants only. We will find our way around your blog so no need to post a lot of entries here.

Also please write DT after your application in the inlinkz.   

All the important info you need to know is fond HERE. Please read it all before asking your questions. Thanks! We have all the info you need there, but if you by any chance has a question that isn't covered in that info we'll be happy to answer it here in the commenting form. Please no e-mails to the Paper Shelter about this,as the call is handled by me, Marie as the DT-coordinator and "head"of the DT-call. Besides, there might be another crafter that wants to know the same as you. :)

Please note that it takes up a lot of time to run a DT call so it's up to you to make sure that you are entering the right link, either for the DT call or the challenge or both. This will be checked at least once per day and those that is incorrect will be removed.

NOT ACCEPT ANY STAMPED IMAGES

 in our DT call. 

We are a digital company and want to see what you can do with your digital images and papers. (It's not necessary to use digital papers in the call, only digital image). Of course we'll be looking at your creations with stamped images as well, but we want a short cut to the digital ones.

You also need to be able to communicate in English as it's the only language we use on the DT blog. 

Our new term starts of 1st of April 2015 and will last until the end of September 2015. You are of course required to be able to start working with us right away.


What you need to do to apply to the team

·     As we are a digital company and work with digital images you need to use a digi for your application. It doesn't have to be new, and it doesn't even have to be a TPS image, but we do would love to see you use them.

  • Your colouring skills needs to be really good, and that is one of the main things we are looking for when we pick our new members. We are looking for high quality crafters of all kind. We are also looking at your photos as they need to be good enough to show of your work really well.
  • Do show your style in your creation. We want to see your style of crafting being it vintage, CAS, colourful, pastels etc. You can apply with any kind of project you want to card, LO, altered project etc but it does have to have a digital image on it that you have coloured yourself.
  • Make sure there is come way we can get the hold of your e-mail address on your blog. Would hate not being able to contact you if you are one of the chosen ones. If we can’t contact you, we will go for another designer. (We will NOT leave a comment telling you that you are one of the lucky ones or that we want you to contact us. Google+ and other medias is not accepted either).
  • You don't have to use a new card to apply to our team. However, your crafting skills changes more than you know. So a card or other creation that you made a few months back, might not represent who you are at this point. Therefore I recommend that you use a "fresh" card, not older than maybe two months. And remember YOU HAVE TO USE A DIGITAL IMAGE. I will delete any creation that has a stamped main image.
  • You do need to have a blog on your own and post regular on it.

Tip of the day!
The newer your creation is the better your chances will be. You might not see it but it will be a big difference between the card you made today and the one you made 6 month ago. You will have gotten more experience in your colouring and decorating style. 
It does show!

This is what you need to be do regularly for the Paper Shelter
  •    Of course you need to be able to work with digital images as we are a digital company. We have both digital images and paper packs.
  •   Do your commenting on a regular basis base out of our commenting rota (two numbers per dt-member).
  •   Have your creation ready IN TIME for us. All creations should be ready at the latest Monday eve, UK time.
  •   You need to post your card with a link to your blog in time on our design team blog, and on your own blog.
  •  The Paper Shelter does also provide pre coloured images so it would be nice if you would be able to use one of those every now and then.
  •  If you of some reason isn't able to take part in one of our challenges, you have to tell your team leader in PLENTY of time. We have all our challenges planned early so you should be able to plan for having a card made in time even if you are going away.
  •  If feeling like it, you are more than welcome to provide creations for both the A and B team. But you always need to take part in your "own" team's challenges. And comment during that week.
  • Taking part in blog hops (we have at least one every year) and other adventures we might do here at the Shelter. From time to time we might ask you to make an extra card. You need to be able to do it.
  •  Post banners for sales, blog hops and DT calls on your personal blog when required. 
  •  Even if we have two teams on the Paper Shelter we help each other out when needed with cards, commenting help etc. We expect all of you to help out when we need you. 
  • Good photos of your work is required as you will be promoting images for the Paper Shelter, we want to be able to show what a brilliant job you do for us.

Benefits for our team members
  •  As a starting point you'll get a very generous gift certificate so that you can purchanse the items you need to get you started your designs for the Paper Shelter.
  • You will receive all the new products that is produced during your time in the design team.
  •  Your own show case page on the challenge blog during the time you are a part of the team.
  • You get a whole bunch of new friends in our teams.
  •  Help and inspiration from our senior crafters.
  • We do have all our challenges up on the design team blog in plenty of time, so you know what you should be doing for coming challenges.

Hi dear fans of the Paper Shelter, friends and crafters! It's time for a new design team call here at the "Shelter". Our term is coming to and end and sadly a few of our members are leaving. So lucky for all of you out there we, we are looking for 8 new designers to join our teams.

The DT call will run from today, 10th of February till 20th of February. So you will have 10 days to apply to the team. One entry per applicants only. We will find our way around your blog. Also please write DT after your application. Last time there was a lot of you entering our challenges in the call and it took a lot of time to sort that out.

Note that we will not accept any stamped images 
in our DT call.

Our new term starts of 6th of March and will last for at least 6 months. If you are one of the chosen ones and make the team you are more than welcome to stay on the team after that as well. You are of course required to be able to start working with us right away. As the first challenge for the new B-team will start 6th of March. The A-team will have their first challenge 13th of March.

  • You need to post your card with a link to your blog in time on our design team blog, and on your own blog. (Yes, you do need to have a blog where you post regularly, at least once per week.) In time meaning at the latest Monday eve 1800 UK time. The challenges goes live Wednesday 0900 UK time. 
  • The Paper Shelter does also provide pre coloured images so it would be nice if you would be able to use one of those every now and then as well. 
  • If you of some reason isn't able to take part in one of our challenges, you have to tell your team leader in time. 
  • If feeling like it, you are more than welcome to provide creations for both the A and B team. But you always need to take part in your "own" team's challenges.

Design team call

Only DIGIS allowed to enter the DT call. We are a digital company and want to see what you do when you go digi. 


Hello! It's that time of the year again, we are doing our second DT call for this year. We are sadly loosing some of our dear fellow design team members and need to fill their spots. We are now looking for some crafters that wants to join our team. And no, I will not tell you how many we are looking for this time.


Our DT call runs from today; 7th of July to 20th of July, that's two weeks. One entry per crafter only. We do check your blog and see what you are up to, so no need to apply more than once.

During this time we will not be commenting on our challenges, as we have given our teams some time of when it comes to this, they have been working hard since the beginning of the term. Our challenges will run as normal during the DT call, but without the commenting. 

Our new design team term will start 1st of August and last to 31st of January. Any questions, just write a comment and we will answer you at the same place. You need to be able to start right away, as it's not much time for those who start in the A team. Sorry about that, but pro crafters can handle that, right? LoL


What you need to do to apply to the team
  • As we work with digital images we like you need to use a digi for your application card. It doesn't have to be new and it doesn't have to be a TPS image even if we would love to see you use them.
  • Your colouring skills needs to be excellent and that is one of the main things we are looking at for our new design team members.
  • Please don't cover up your creation in too much decorations for this application, we really love to see your colouring! Even if we don't want you to cover up your creation (being a card, a LO, or altered project), we do want your project showing your style of creating.

This is what you need to be able to to regulary for the challenge blog
  • We feel that everyone deserves at least two comments each from the DT, so every second week you have to do your commenting in time. We have a comment rota, two numbers for each team member.
  • You need to be able to post your card in time both on the DT blog and on you own. (Yes, you do need to have your own blog and post on it regulary, at least once per week). 
  • You need to be able to work with digital images as well as digital designer papers as the Paper Shelter produces both of these products. They Shelter does also provide pre coloured images and once in a while it's good if you use them as well.

Benefits 
  • You will receive a gift certificate to purchase the items you will need to start your projects.
  • You will receive all the new products while you're in our design team
  • Inspiration from a great team of designers.
  • And a bunch of new friends.


So I think I have covered most here. I kind of kidnapped our own last DT call (the what you need parts and benefits that is), as I am not functioning that good today. Appologize for that, but it says what I need to say. LoL

Hello there!
Here comes the news you all have been waiting for. We have finally gotten our two teams together. It has been very hard to chose between all your fantastic submissions to out design call. We have been over it time after time, just to start over again a couple of hours later. But in the end these 8 gals (yes we was just looking for 7 at first, but lost a dear member) stood out the most for us and we are so happy and pround to let you know who our new TPS gals are.

It's time for a design team call!


Hello every one and welcome to the Paper Shelter challenge blog! This time I don't have a challenge for you, instead I'm hosting the design team call for the Paper Shelter. We would like to add seven, yes seven (7) new members to our teams, we have two of them. Shirley leading team A and me (Marie) leading the B team. We are sadly loosing a few of our dear members and have to replace them, then we want to add a few more.

The call is up for 2 weeks and ends 24th of January. You don't need to have any experience of being on a team and we are looking for all kind of crafters that can incorporate digital images in their crafting. So this is what you need to be able to do for us.


What you need to do to apply to the team
  • As we work with digital images we like you to use a digi for your application card. It doesn't have to be new and it doesn't have to be a TPS image even if we would love to see you use them.
  • Your colouring skills needs to be excellent and that is one of the main things we are looking at for our new design team members.
  • Please don't cover up your creation in too much decorations for this application, we really love to see your colouring!

The Paper Shelter DT Call

The Paper Shelter is in search of designers to join our new Digital Design Team! We've recently started up a new blog to show new and old releases.

If you love working with digital images and being part of a design team, this DT call is for you! 

The term will be for 6 months, starting on Feb 1st 2011 - July 31st. 2011

Requirements:
- post 3 to 4 projects per month on your blog (preferably once a week) - you must have a blog 
to enter this  DT call
-  submit work to the DT coordinator to share on our blog twice monthly
- participate in all new release digi events and challenge blog when started.
- promote The Paper Shelter on your blog - post badges, etc.

Benefits:
- each DT member will receive all new digital stamps released during their term 
- a 20% discount on earlier Paper Shelter products for the length of their term
